Ujet's story started with a group of like-minded scientists and businessmen nurturing the concept of creating disruptive technology in an established automotive world.

We believed in
an electric future

We wanted disruptive design. It was obvious to us that to fit all the requirements we had for the vehicle it must be original. Disruptive design in Ujet‘s case goes beyond aesthetics, it is functional. One may wonder why is the frame asymmetrical? The Ujet electric scooter is a foldable 2-wheeler, and if we went for a classic scooter design it would have been very difficult to fold it into a compact object. It allows the user to have the standard vehicle that can be used on the city roads, at the same time effortlessly and conveniently stored indoors or in vehicles.

Infotainment system

GPS, music playback, telephony, integrated camera, and connected to your smartphone.

Nano-Augmented Tires

Never lose traction, and get increased grip thanks to the world’s first nano-augmented tire.

Portable
storage seat

Take it anywhere, use it as a powerbank, and listen to music via integrated wireless speakers.

We wanted to have an absolutely disruptive design. It was obvious to us that in order to fit all the requirements we had for the vehicle it must be truly original. Disruptive design in Ujet case is a functional feature, beyond pure aesthetics.

For example, one may wonder why is the frame asymmetrical? The Ujet electric scooter is a foldable 2-wheeler, and if we went for a classic scooter design it would have been very difficult to fold it into a compact object. It gives the user an opportunity to have the standard vehicle that can be used on the city roads, at the same time effortlessly put into the trunk of the car or conveniently stored in the flat.

Improved ergonomics,
and re-invention

We had to have an unprecedented approach in our mechanical engineering. Connecting the seat, battery, and the frame, to view it as a singular development. By doing so, we created something new, gave great weight reduction, enhanced ergonomics, and re-invented not only the product itself but foremost the approach.

In-wheel light-weight, brushless motor

To get there we developed 5 different motors with different partners, some of which were great inventions, but only possible to be produced on a small scale due to the engineering complexities.

Organic shapes
and contemporary architecture

Back in 2016, the team turned to the organic shapes in nature and contemporary architecture for inspiration. Ujet Founders Series is a summary of the most advanced technologies in a lot of areas, and the chief uniqueness of Ujet is in connecting them.

We have fitted a very small object with all these technologies, including high-tech IoT, materials science, electronics, hardware, and real mechanical engineering. As an example, Ujet is equipped with the over-the-air update system, which required us to build a complicated infrastructure and several specific parts of the software.
